Goldsmith Williams launches GW Let

Eddie Goldsmith, senior partner at the national law firm, said: “We’ve developed GW LET in response to the needs of our clients and their feedback to us about our service.

“We’re already recognised for our expertise in property matters and our team have earned an excellent reputation in this field.

“Having acted for thousands of amateur landlords over the years we know there is very little specialist help out there geared towards the less experienced landlord. Even if you have only one buy-to-let you have legal obligations as a landlord and we wanted to help to make those obligations easier to understand.

“From drafting or approving tenancy agreements through to handling lease and enfranchisement matters, we have over thirty years experience to this highly specialised market.

“We’ve been delighted by the positive reaction of our clients to GW LET. As a proud member of ALEP I’m pleased to be able to formally launch this new service today as ALEP holds their Spring Conference.”

Alex Greenslade, honorary secretary of ALEP, added: “We are delighted to welcome a property law firm of Goldsmith Williams' standing to ALEP. Membership acts as a badge of assurance so that residential leaseholders or freeholders can be confident they are employing professionals with the right level of experience in handling potentially complex transactions.”
