Oblix Capital hires independent adviser to the board

Specialist bridging and development lender Oblix Capital has appointed Mark Sismey-Durrant onto its senior leadership team as an independent adviser to the board.

Sismey-Durrant (pictured) has worked in the industry for over 40 years, with previous roles at Hampshire Trust Bank, Sun Bank and Sun Life Financial of Canada (UK).

Rishi Passi, chief executive at Oblix Capital, said: “I am delighted to welcome Mark to the senior team here at Oblix.

Mark’s current roles include being a board member of UK Finance and chair of its audit and oversight committee, and master of the Worshipful Company of International Bankers.
