Montello moves HQ to London's West End

Montello Bridging Finance has moved its offices from the City to London's West End to help better serve its growing investor based situated in Mayfair.

After spending five years in the City since the inception of the business, Montello has relocated to the top of Gerald Ronson's Herron House on Bentinck Street, just a short walk from Bond Street tube station.

Christian Faes, manaing partner, said: "We have been keen to move to the West End for some time. Increasingly our investor base is from Mayfair where there is a large contingent of London's family offices and hedge funds. The City has been great but to a large extent it is very institutional where Mayfair is far more entrepreneurial. Mayfair also plays host to many of London's main property players so the area suits us very well.

"We are very focussed at the moment with growing the business but ensuring that it grows in a very sensible and sustainable way. Generally speaking it seems that the bridging market has gone through a decent period of consolidation. Everyone seems to be doing quite well and largely just getting on with the business of doing deals."

Faes added: "Montello extends a warm welcome to the bridging market, offering those that are interested to drop by their office some time to share a coffee with them on the rooftop terrace which should prove to be popular as we come into summer."
