These appointments follow the recent significant cash injection that Cheval received from its new shareholders in February this year.
Neil Molyneux joins from estate agency group Sequence UK Ltd, where he was mortgage services sales manager for the Fox & Sons and Allen & Harris brands. He previously worked for Lehmann Brothers as regional account manager within the Southern Pacific brand, as regional director for Forces Financial and held various positions within the Advance Finance Group.
Gordon Rae’s most recent position was as regional account manager at Tiuta plc. Prior to this he was national sales manager for GMAC RFC, where he spent 10 years in various positions within mortgage sales.
Diamond said: “We are delighted that Neil and Gordon have joined our team. They are both high profile and experienced individuals with proven track records in mortgage sales. These appointments will help us to build on a successful 2011 to date, and reflect not only our appetite to lend but also our commitment to supporting the intermediary market.”
The company also announced the departure of its national sales manager, Gareth Lewis, who has decided to pursue a new opportunity. “We wish him every success in his new role,” said Diamond.
