Latest system update gives advisers more flexibility over their advised general insurance

Source Insurance updates adviser platform

General insurance provider Source Insurance has rolled out the latest update to its adviser platform, The Source, providing advisers with enhanced flexibility in managing their advised general insurance.

The company collaborated with the Adviser Insight Forum, a dedicated group of advisers, to revamp its well-established quotation system and address the evolving needs of advisers and their customers.

Noteworthy additions to the platform include customisable system settings, in-depth data analysis tools, and a rapid 15-second Premium Predictor. One of the standout features is the newly introduced Share Quote function, a tool that amplifies the adaptability of services offered by advisers to their clients.

“Crafted by our in-house development team, The Source empowers advisers to foster closer collaboration with their clients,” Chris Lynch, information technology director at Source Insurance, commented on the platform’s newest update. “This level of flexibility allows for a personalised quoting process that caters to each individual’s requirements. The system’s development has been a collaborative effort, incorporating invaluable input from advisers to ensure optimal outcomes.”

“At Source Insurance, we believe in building meaningful partnerships and have done so since our inception,” Malcolm Guest (pictured), managing director at Source Insurance, added. “The Source is a testament to our commitment to working alongside advisers to create solutions that simplify the process and make it more engaging for clients, in a landscape calling out for more versatility and customer control.

“We’ve encouraged advisers to get involved with the development process, forging a powerful partnership of our own with our Adviser Insight Forum. This expert group gave us priceless insight and feedback into this system’s foundations.”
