Smoove rolls out digital onboarding platform

Software provider Smoove has announced the full market rollout of its digital onboarding platform Smoove Start, following the success of its pilot launch.

Smoove said the onboarding platform was designed to help estate agents and their clients streamline and speed up the administrative tasks involved in a property transaction. It added that the platform collates all key tasks when onboarding a new buyer or seller, including ID and AML checks, EPCs and title deeds; and avoids the administration burden of multiple systems, chasing clients, and removing unnecessary delays.

Property checks and important documents are also automated on the system and help simplify the often complicated and stressful process of moving home. By improving transparency, Smoove Start is expected to reduce fall throughs, while providing visibility of any issues upfront early in the home moving process.

Smoove Start is available to estate agents through a subscription level pricing model, allowing agents to pay for what they want to use.

“The analogue and time-consuming nature of tying up a sale and ‘Knowing Your Customer’ is a major pain point for estate agents,” Simon McCulloch, chief commercial and growth officer at Smoove, remarked. “As these processes have increased, estate agents often face too much hassle, admin and red tape when agreeing a sale.

“By removing this burden and automating the process, as well as being up-to-date on the latest regulation, Smoove Start provides a solution that will improve transparency and efficiency between the agents, buyers, and sellers connected with the sale.”
