Clearway names new executive chairman

Property security services provider Clearway Group has announced the appointment of Peter Eglinton (pictured) as its executive chairman.

Eglinton brings with him 20 years of experience, leading six disparate businesses and working extensively with private equity backed firms. He also has significant experience driving expansion across Europe and North America.

He will take over the day-to-day running of the business from group chief executive, Ian Quinlan, who will continue to support the business and the senior management team to assist in ensuring continuity.

“We respect Ian’s decision and would like to reiterate how grateful we are for his vision, leadership, and mentorship over the last six years,” Stephen Walls, chairman at the Clearway Group Limited, stated in a post announcing Eglinton’s appointment.

“We welcome Peter on board and are delighted to have him with us to help deliver the next phase of the Clearway vision and wish him every success in the future. We will, of course, provide him with our full support and commitment, which has been a key part of the growth and success of Clearway to date.”

Commenting on his appointment, Eglinton added that he was looking forward to what they can do next as the past six years have seen significant growth under Quinlan’s management.

“I will be fully embracing the challenge to continue that great work, supported by the entire Clearway team,” he said.

Clearway specialises in securing vulnerable properties, and its critical technology-led security solutions include CCTV and alarms to monitor, secure, and protect properties and assets.
