As the adviser channel reaches a new milestone, see who led the market in 2026
Mortgage advisers are no longer competing with the banks for relevance. They're becoming the preferred path to home ownership.
Today, advisers originate around 60% of all new home loans in New Zealand, with major lenders continuing to increase the share of their mortgage books coming through the adviser channel.
Against a backdrop of regulatory change, evolving client expectations, and the growing use of AI, NZ Adviser's Top Advisers 2026 recognizes the professionals settling the highest volumes of residential lending across the country.
This year's ranking grew to 147 advisers, up from 94 last year. Among them are:
