The 2026 class collectively funded more than $10 billion in residential mortgages, selected from a field verified by aggregators, franchisors, and lenders
Canadian Mortgage Professional has named its Top 75 Brokers for 2026 — the definitive annual ranking of the highest-performing residential mortgage professionals in Canada, measured by verified funded volume.
To be eligible, brokers must have been licensed and actively working throughout 2025. All mortgage deals had to be personally initiated and consist exclusively of residential transactions, with funded volumes independently verified by aggregators, franchisors, and lenders before any placement on the list was confirmed.
The 2026 class collectively funded $10.66 billion in residential mortgages across 20,638 transactions, an average of $142.1 million per broker and 279 deals each.
The results land at a defining moment for the Canadian mortgage market, with residential mortgage debt exceeding $2.4 trillion in December 2025, up 4.8% year-on-year, according to Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC).
Leading the ranking is Collin Bruce of Dominion Lending Centres Mortgage Mentors in Edmonton, Alberta, who closed 2025 with $391.7 million across 1,158 deals, topping both the overall list and the Top 20 Small Market category.
Among those taking their place on the prestigious list for 2026 are Carlo Del Giudice of Mortgage Architects, Mandeep (Micky) Khaneka of MKG Mortgages, and Danny Ibrahim of Keyrate Mortgage.
Also recognised are Chris Allard of Smart Debt Mortgages, Hugo Fortier of Groupe Gestion Hypothécaire, and John Burke of Burke Financial.
Joining them are Iman Ardestani of Climb Financial Inc., James De Vuyst of Team De Vuyst Mortgage Professionals, as well as Philippe Boucher of Mortgage Alliance, Scott McKay Wood of McKay Wood Mortgages Inc., and Sharnjit Singh Gill of VERICO Superior Mortgage Inc.
