Into the Brokerversity: LMG’s broker-centric learning platform hits new heights

More than 100,000 lessons have now been completed through LMG’s Brokerversity digital education platform, the leading mortgage aggregator announced on Wednesday.

Brokers, client service managers and business owners across Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines have flocked to the platform since its launch 12 months ago, with more than 8,000 users completing around 2,000 lessons per week.

Brokerversity’s soaring success is a testament to how “brokers are embracing learning like never before”, said LMG.

“We’re beyond excited to hit this milestone… It shows just how committed our network and the wider industry are to learning, growth, and continuous improvement,” stated Deanna Garrasi, LMG’s head of broker education operations.

Eager learners are not just coming from LMG’s substantial broker network – nearly 10% of Brokerversity’s users come from competing aggregators.

“We’ve focused on UX (user experience) from the outset and that’s driven the popularity of Brokerversity – it’s an interactive platform for users, not a stack of boring PDFs,” said Louise Rainger (pictured), LMG’s national director of broker education.

‘Learning never stops’

Rainger noted that the platform is still attracting 50 new users every month, despite being more than 12 months into Brokerversity’s launch.

“Because the content is written by brokers for brokers, users can apply what they’ve learned directly to real-world scenarios. That’s one of the reasons why business owners have been so supportive of their staff spending time upskilling through Brokerversity.”

Aspiring broker Stefan Simic, client success manager at mortgage broker Bespoke Capital, said Brokerversity has been a “gamechanger” for his career. “Brokerversity has helped me build a solid foundation of critical broker knowledge – from the fundamentals to more complex topics.”

Brokerversity also offers aggregator-first qualifications in the Certificate IV in Mortgage Broking and the Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking Management.

More than 250 people have either graduated or are currently undertaking the qualifications, said Rainger.

“With more brokers jumping on board every month, Brokerversity is proving that in this industry, learning never stops,” she said.
