MPA spotlights 77 female leaders driving growth across Australia's broking industry
MPA's Elite Women 2026 report is now live, recognising 77 women shaping the Australian mortgage industry across broking, aggregation, lending and industry bodies.
The list is drawn from an open nomination process and marks a substantial leap from 50 honourees in 2025.
This year's survey shows a shift in industry sentiment: 62% of respondents say the industry still lacks visible female leaders to look up to, down from 91% in 2025 – the first drop in three years.
The full report also draws on findings from the Workplace Gender Equality Agency's (WGEA) Employer Gender Pay Gaps Report 2024–25 to contextualise the pay gap women in finance and insurance still face.
Elite Women 2026 was once again sponsored by ANZ. "ANZ was proud to sponsor the MPA Elite Women of 2025. We congratulate the winners of this award," said Natalie Smith, general manager, ANZ retail broker.
