50 specialists are now on hand to guide brokers and their customers across the lending process
Bendigo Bank has established a dedicated virtual banking team to support its network of accredited mortgage brokers and their clients.
The team, comprised of 50 personal bankers and home lending specialists, is designed to streamline the lending process, reduce administrative burden for brokers, and maintain ongoing customer relationships from application through to settlement.
The team is already operational and available to brokers accredited with Bendigo Bank Broker.
"By providing responsive support, our Virtual Banking Team is ensuring customers are in safe hands from application through to settlement, strengthening the trust and relationships brokers have built," said Natalie Sheehan (pictured right), head of broker at Bendigo Bank.
"We are offering brokers an extra set of hands to help empower them to focus on business growth while we ensure their customers receive the exceptional support they deserve throughout the home loan journey. While offering friendly and knowledgeable guidance, the bank's new Virtual Banking Team is streamlining processes, and providing direct, ongoing support to customers for future lending needs, such as loan variations and new splits."
Sheehan said the initiative also makes it easier for third parties to partner with the bank, with early results indicating brokers are gaining more time to focus on running their businesses.
The virtual banking team will also handle ongoing customer requirements beyond initial settlement, including loan variations and new splits.
