ORDE Financial creates national distribution role to back broker growth

ORDE Financial has appointed Marc Cassidy (pictured) to a newly created national distribution manager role, reinforcing its distribution leadership as demand for non-bank lending support continues to build across the broker market.

Cassidy brings more than 20 years' experience across banking and financial services, including senior roles in mortgages, wealth, adviser engagement and credit. His career includes time at major institutions such as NAB and MLC, where he worked across national lending and distribution teams.

In his new role, Cassidy will lead ORDE's state and regional distribution teams, working closely with state sales managers, business development managers and relationship managers across the country.

ORDE's distribution team has doubled in size over the past 12 months. Since launching, the non-bank lender has supported more than $10 billion in settled loans for over 16,000 borrowers, while expanding its aggregator panel presence to six major groups with access to more than 18,000 brokers nationally.

ORDE director of distribution Lee Prior said the creation of the role was a deliberate move as the business scales.

"We've been intentional about investing in leadership that supports what matters most to brokers – consistency, accessibility and experience," Prior said. "Marc brings strong distribution experience and a grounded, practical leadership style."

Cassidy said ORDE's broker-first model was a key drawcard.

"ORDE is very clear about who it's built for – brokers," Cassidy said. "I was drawn to how closely the distribution team works with brokers and aggregator partners and stays involved on the ground."

Cassidy will be based in Melbourne, working nationally across ORDE's distribution network.
