Travel site names Tauranga as one of the world's most beautiful cities

Tauranga has been named one of the world’s most beautiful cities by travel site Love Exploring.

Listing various cities from all over the world, the article noted that Tauranga’s spot on the list was because of its beautiful beaches as well as its vibrant street art and parks surrounded with palm trees.

The Mauao or Mount Maunganui also received praise as the beachside city offers hiking trails to its summit, which features a panoramic view of Tauranga, its white-sand beaches, and the Pacific Ocean.

While it boasts notably picturesque views, Tauranga still faces a shortage in housing like the rest of the country, which is still being mitigated through various efforts to boost developments and provide more dwellings for people.
