Mortgage Alliance launched MortgageBOSS V2, the second version of its broker software, three years after the first system debuted in November 2007.

The highlighted improvement to V2 is the system’s new compatibility with various Internet browsers and it now works on PDAs (personal digital assistants). The other added benefit is the three different mortgage application portals available.

“We have a website application, a system application and an offline application with Lender Logic built in so as brokers are filling it in, it actually tells them which lenders are there, the best rates and best products so they don’t have to enter it twice,” said Michael Beckette, Mortgage Alliance president and CEO. “Everybody talks about CRM but CRM just happens to be a small component of this. It’s got a complete personal organizer just like Outlook, an email client, appointments, to-dos—everything is right upfront.”

MortgageBOSS V2 was in development for approximately a year. It enables everything to be performed on one platform—from checking email to filling out a mortgage application to receiving commission cheques.
