Bizcap’s fast funding without property security now stretches to $1 million
Non-bank lender Bizcap has doubled the ceiling on its Fast Business Loan to $1 million, betting that larger borrowers want the same speed as smaller ones. The previous limit was $500,000, and the loans still require no property security.
Bizcap said businesses and its partners had been asking for bigger funding options for established small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The higher limit is aimed at businesses needing working capital to grow, buy equipment, stock up or hire. It is available to eligible businesses now.
Speed still matters at higher loan sizes
Bizcap chief credit officer Tony Truong (pictured left) said the need for a fast decision doesn’t fade as loan sizes rise.
“Businesses don’t suddenly become less time-sensitive because they need $750,000 rather than $250,000,” Truong said.
He said many established firms with significant funding needs still want flexibility and a lender willing to understand their individual business. The new limit lets Bizcap serve more of them “without fundamentally changing what makes the product work for SMEs”.
Across its lending, Bizcap says approvals can come in as little as three hours, with same-day funding available.
A second product move
Bizcap has also extended its Line of Credit Ultra feature, which gives eligible Australian businesses 0% interest for their first four weeks. The lender said the extension followed strong interest from advisers and referral partners, which it said showed demand for products giving SMEs more control over cash flow.
Co-founder and co-CEO Zalman Blachman (pictured right) said the changes reflected the lender’s aim to evolve its products with the needs of SMEs and introducers.
“We’re seeing strong demand from businesses and our referral partners for larger, more flexible funding options,” Blachman said.
Market shift towards non-banks
The Reserve Bank of Australia’s (RBA) February 2026 Bulletin found that the non-bank share of business lending has grown significantly since 2022, particularly for smaller SME loans, as non-bank lenders fill the gap left by tighter bank credit.
Founded in 2019, Bizcap operates in Australia, New Zealand, the US, the UK, Canada, Singapore and Europe. It says it has funded more than 100,000 SMEs, totalling $5 billion globally. It was recently named Outstanding Customer Service – Business Loans at the 2026 WeMoney Business Awards for a third consecutive year, and also won Best for Line of Credit.
