Complimentary CPD, compliance and lender training now available network-wide
Fintelligence's national network of asset finance brokers now has complimentary access to Learn, a training and development platform that centralises everything from onboarding to CPD compliance tracking.
The tool has already been running across mortgage brokers in Australian Finance Group's (AFG) wider network, and this marks its first extension beyond that group.
Learn brings together lender education, Ambition Cloud training and business development resources in one place, with content built by Fintelligence's own learning and development team.
The platform's library includes lender webinars, conference recordings, and specialist training materials that will continue to grow over time.
Them Lam (pictured), AFG chief distribution and marketing officer, said extending the platform to Fintelligence was a logical next step.
"We've seen the impact Learn has had across the AFG network, so bringing it to Fintelligence was a natural step. Asset finance brokers are operating in an increasingly regulated environment and Learn gives them access to the tools and support they need to stay compliant while continuing to grow their businesses," Lam said.
The rollout comes as asset finance emerges as a genuine growth engine for AFG, with the group's asset finance settlements rising 19% to $4.3 billion in FY26, part of a full-year result that also saw EBITDA in its Mmnufacturing segment more than double.
Brokers more broadly are also increasingly diversifying into this space: the MFAA reports that the value of commercial loans settled by brokers has reached a record high, reflecting a growing shift into commercial and asset finance alongside traditional mortgage broking.
Learning pathways span compliance to leadership
The platform is structured around learning pathways covering commercial and consumer asset finance, lender accreditation, compliance, leadership, sales, and customer service. The aim is to let brokers manage their professional development obligations alongside day-to-day business growth, regardless of the size of their operation.
Bianca Saccaro, Fintelligence head of sales and distribution, said the priority was keeping the offering straightforward for brokers already juggling competing demands.
"Brokers need simplicity to focus on delivering great outcomes for their customers. Professional development needs to be flexible, practical and easy to access, without creating additional cost or complexity," Saccaro said.
