SFG adds Remara Money to panel, expanding non-bank lending options for brokers

Latest panel addition brings residential, commercial and SMSF lending to aggregator’s broker network

SFG adds Remara Money to panel, expanding non-bank lending options for brokers

Specialist Finance Group (SFG) has added non-bank lender Remara Money to its lender panel, giving brokers another option for clients whose circumstances fall outside traditional bank lending parameters.

Remara Money offers residential, commercial and self-managed super fund (SMSF) loans and is now available to accredited brokers across the SFG network. It is the latest in a series of 2026 panel appointments that have taken the aggregator further into specialist and non-bank lending.

SFG general manager Blake Buchanan (pictured) said the addition gave the aggregator’s brokers greater choice when structuring solutions for clients.

“At SFG, we have built one of the industry’s largest and most comprehensive lender panels, but our focus has never been on numbers alone,” Buchanan said.

“We continually assess the market to identify lenders that can provide genuine value to our brokers and their clients. Remara Money brings flexibility, commercial lending expertise and a willingness to work closely with brokers to understand the individual circumstances behind each transaction.”

The partnership intends to help SFG brokers stay well positioned as client requirements and lending markets changed.

Buchanan continued: “Our brokers are dealing with increasingly diverse and sophisticated client needs. That requires an equally diverse panel of lenders, products and specialist support.

“We will continue investing in our panel of providers so our brokers can confidently deliver ever-evolving client solutions. The addition of Remara Money is another important step in that strategy.”

Remara Money head of sales Lauren Severino said the lender was pleased to partner with SFG and support its national broker network.

She said: “SFG has an outstanding reputation for supporting high-quality brokers and giving them the tools, relationships and lending options they need to grow.

“We are excited to work with the SFG team and introduce more brokers to Remara Money’s flexible and solutions-focused approach. Our team understands that many transactions require more than a standard credit response, so we work closely with brokers to properly understand the deal and identify a practical path forward.”

Severino added education and direct access to experienced lending professionals would be an important part of the partnership.

“We want SFG brokers to see Remara Money as a genuine extension of their own team – a lender they can engage early, discuss scenarios with openly and rely on for clear and responsive support,” she said.

SFG’s 2026 lender panel expansion

Remara Money is the latest of several non-traditional lenders to join the SFG panel this year.

In February, Midkey joined SFG’s national lender panel, marking its first Australian aggregator partnership and its first formal step into the broker channel.

In April, bridging specialist Bridgit joined the SFG panel, giving brokers access to its full product range and technology platform.

In August, South Australian Government-backed lender HomeStart joined SFG’s panel, giving brokers access to HomeStart’s low-deposit and equity-based home loans.
