The new tool processes documents, extracts income, and generates loan scenarios without manual entry
Quickli, the mortgage technology platform used by more than 14,000 Australian brokers, has launched Fact Find, an AI-powered client intake tool. It takes a client's uploaded documents and produces complete loan scenarios, submission notes, and lender policy checks with no manual data entry from the broker.
The product, released on 22 September, marks the most significant expansion since Quickli's founding in 2021. Under the previous workflow, brokers manually collected client details, sorted documents, ran income calculations across multiple lender portals, and wrote loan notes – often several hours per file. Fact Find compresses that into minutes.
The tool works sequentially: a client submits their details and documents once. From there, Quickli's system gets to work by:
- detecting and organising the files
- extracting income information
- generating loan scenarios
- searching lender policy requirements
- checking lender service level agreements
- producing accurate submission notes
The broker's involvement begins where it always should: at the point of advice.
Built on existing infrastructure
Fact Find integrates Quickli's earlier AI tools, Jiffi AI and Doc Handler, into a single end-to-end intake workflow. Doc Handler, updated alongside the launch, now analyses self-employed financials – including tax returns and business documents – extracting income in under a minute and flowing the figures directly into loan notes.
Jiffi AI, Quickli's credit analysis tool, has also been extended with a dedicated mobile app. It now allows brokers to run real-time policy research and scenario analysis after hours without logging into a desktop system.
Eric Dill (pictured above), co-founder and co-chief executive at Quickli, said the tool was built with direct broker input over several months.
"We've spent months stress-testing Fact Find with brokers, incorporating their feedback at every stage. Rather than ship a polished product in isolation, our style is to bring brokers along the journey, ensuring their needs shape the outcome," Dill said.
He acknowledged the first version is functional rather than feature-complete, with open banking integrations and credit reports on the roadmap.
"Fact Find represents the culmination of everything we've built with Jiffi AI and Doc Renamer. In version one, we focused on nailing the fundamentals first: seamless data flow from intake to scenario, client experience that works, and making it easy for brokers to share," Dill said.
Human support behind mortgage broker automation
Quickli says it has resisted automating its support function, keeping a human team in place to handle broker queries. For brokers, that means platform questions and policy issues get resolved by a person rather than a chatbot – a distinction that matters when a client is sitting across the table.
In a market where clients are comparing mortgage options in real time, a broker who can resolve a product or policy question within a single meeting is better positioned to close. The 2026 MPA Top 50 Brokerages report found that the firms gaining ground in the current cycle are those using technology to strengthen client relationships rather than replace them.
Quickli's growth has been built almost entirely through broker referrals – a pattern consistent with a tool that addresses a daily operational problem. With more brokers integrating automation into daily workflow, Fact Find arrives at the point where the market is most receptive to it.
Fact Find is available now to all Quickli Pro subscribers.
