Finalists span seven categories, with winners to be announced in July
The Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) has released the list of finalists for the national-only categories of its 2026 Excellence Awards, with winners to be announced at a ceremony in Melbourne on 22 July.
The seven national-only categories cover aggregators, mortgage managers, mentors, professional development providers, support service providers, and diversity and inclusion initiatives. Submissions were independently assessed, with results verified by Hall Chadwick.
The awards program covers 26 categories in total, recognising brokers, broking businesses, lenders, and support professionals. The national-only categories are distinct in their focus on organisations and individuals that underpin industry infrastructure and capability.
The full list of finalists is available on the MFAA Excellence Awards website.
"The national-only categories recognise the leadership, capability, innovation and commitment that help strengthen the foundations of our industry," said Anja Pannek (pictured right), chief executive officer at MFAA.
"From mentoring and education to aggregation, mortgage management, support services and diversity and inclusion, these finalists play an important role in ensuring brokers are well supported, well equipped and able to continue delivering strong outcomes for their clients, businesses and communities.
"Their contribution helps lift professional standards, build industry capability and support the long-term sustainability of our industry."
The winners will be announced following the 2026 MFAA National Conference.
State-level finalists were announced last month, with winners from each jurisdiction progressing to the national program. The state events run from late May through June: Adelaide Oval on 28 May, the Ritz-Carlton Melbourne on 4 June, Crown Perth on 11 June, the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on 18 June, and Sofitel Sydney Wentworth on 25 June.
