Richard Clark and Ricky Luo join to strengthen adviser support across NZ
CFML Loans has strengthened its national footprint with two new business development manager appointments, giving advisers dedicated regional contacts across Auckland, the South Island, and Wellington.
Ricky Luo (pictured left) takes on Auckland, while Richard Clark (pictured right) covers the South Island and Wellington.
CFML Loans CEO Johny Kale said the pair had made an immediate impact since joining.
"Since joining, both have made an outstanding start and have already demonstrated the experience, energy, and commitment that will add significant value to our adviser network and business," Kale said.
Backgrounds spanning banking, mortgage advisory, and SME finance
Luo brings a background spanning banking, mortgage advisory, and property finance, having previously held lending roles at ASB and BNZ as well as working directly as a mortgage adviser.
His focus at CFML is on originating lending opportunities and building relationships across residential and investment property finance, working closely with borrowers, brokers, and professional advisers to structure funding solutions.
He is fluent in English and Mandarin and is based in Auckland.
Clark's background is in business banking and SME finance, with a relationship-driven approach built around working closely with business owners to understand their operations and funding needs. He regularly collaborates with accountants, solicitors, and other professional advisers to help structure the right support for clients and has a track record of helping businesses strengthen their financial position.
At CFML, Clark will also work alongside advisers to support business owners through key transition points as they grow.
Kale said both BDMs bring first-hand adviser experience to the role, giving them insight into "the challenges, opportunities, and day-to-day realities" advisers face, and said he expects the pair to become valuable long-term partners for the network. CFML has encouraged advisers to reach out to either Luo or Clark directly to discuss how they can support their business.
