Celebrating financial excellence

FSC Awards 2024 open for entries

The New Zealand Financial Services Council (FSC) has officially opened entries for its 2024 Awards program, celebrating outstanding achievements in the nation’s financial services sector.

“The FSC Awards are a highlight on our calendar,” said FSC acting CEO Haydee Stroud (pictured above). “It gives the people, teams and organisations in the New Zealand financial services sector an opportunity to highlight outstanding work that has made a difference.

Categories and previous success

Participants can nominate individuals, teams, and organisations across eight diverse categories.

These categories include Emerging Trailblazer of the Year, Contribution to Community, Team of the Year, Excellence in Wellbeing and Inclusion, Excellence in Sustainability Practises, Excellence in Governance, Workplace Savings, and Chair’s Award for Services to the Industry.

“We received the highest number of entries since the creation of the FSC Awards last year, which gave the judges a great challenge in selecting winners from the exceptional calibre of work,” Stroud said in an FSC blog.

FSC Awards ceremony details

The winners of the 2024 FSC Awards will be announced during a special ceremony at the FSC Awards dinner on September 4, at The Cordis Hotel. This event is a part of the FSC24 Conference, gathering industry leaders to recognise and celebrate significant contributions to the financial sector.

“We look forward to receiving the nominations this year and seeing the sector’s continued efforts in driving the financial confidence and wellbeing of New Zealanders,” Stroud said.

How to participate

Nominations for the awards are open until June 30. Participants and stakeholders are encouraged to submit their entries to showcase their achievements and impact on New Zealand’s financial landscape.

Early this year, FSC announced the resignation of CEO Richard Klipin and the term extension of Rob Flannagan as FSC chair.
