Bluestone backs New Zealand Mortgage Awards for third year running

Non-bank lender announced as major partner for prestigious industry event

Bluestone backs New Zealand Mortgage Awards for third year running

The 2023 New Zealand Mortgage Awards will be bigger and better than ever – offering participants the chance to enjoy an in-person ceremony for the first time.

A proud supporter of the awards,  Bluestone Home Loans and its white-label product Select has been confirmed as the event partner for the third consecutive year. Other sponsors of the 2023 event include Avanti Finance, Select, First Mortgage Trust and Prospa.

Bluestone New Zealand managing director Peter Wood (pictured above) said it had been a tough period for the mortgage and finance industry over the past few years.

“Reward and recognition across the industry is lacking, so the New Zealand Mortgage Awards are a fantastic opportunity to build on the support from the mortgage adviser and lender point of view,” Wood said. “It is very important to celebrate and acknowledge as we come out of the pandemic moving forward.”

Wood said Bluestone was a big supporter of the adviser market in New Zealand.

“Bluestone and Select will continue to support advisers and the mortgage and finance industry. Our industry will keep evolving too, so it is exciting to see people getting behind it by nominating themselves and their peers for an NZMA in 2023. Bluestone Home Loans and our white label product Select are proud to once again be the main event partners in 2023.”

For the last two years, the pandemic has prevented members of New Zealand’s mortgage and finance industry from meeting up for a night to celebrate the best in the business. However, the third annual New Zealand Mortgage Awards will ensure mortgage advisers, BDMs and representatives from brokerages, lenders and service providers can get together for the first time.

Hosted by Key Media and supported by NZ Adviser, the New Zealand Mortgage Awards will be held at the Hilton Auckland on Thursday, April 27, 2023. Nominations for the awards are already open and will close on Dec. 2.
