Avanti Finance appoints new roles, enjoying growth

Non-bank lender Avanti Finance has announced several new appointments within its team.

Strategic partnership manager Julia Winterbottom (pictured above left) will work closely with its distribution network to identify how Avanti Finance can strengthen relationships and market opportunities.

“Julia has extensive experience in our business and the mortgage industry,” said a spokesperson for the non-bank lender.

“One of Julia’s key strengths is her desire to support advisers and with her knowledge of Avanti’s products and the market in general. She offers significant value to the adviser network.”

Head of sales Michael Harrison (pictured above middle) who currently operates Avanti’s Christchurch office, is assuming responsibility for its BDM team and will be looking to work with the wider adviser network to provide its loan solutions, support and ongoing training.

“For those advisers in the North Island, Michael is currently regional manager South Island and has led this team and served the South Island advisers both as regional manager and BDM over the last six+ years,” the spokesperson said. “He has worked across all aspects of our property team and will be focused on supporting our BDM team to be there for you and your customers.”

Head of property lending Tammy Stitt (pictured above right), meanwhile, will be taking on responsibility for Avanti’s lending operations and delivery.

“It has been a challenging environment for all over the last few years and Tammy is very clear on the needs of our introducers,” said the spokesperson. “Tammy is in the process of appointing some key support roles within her team and this is all with a view to providing the best service and turnaround we can.”

Each of the three new roles will report to Avanti Finance’s head of distribution and they will work collaboratively together.
