First National announces monthly and quarterly dividends

First National Financial Corporation has declared a monthly dividend of $0.204167 per common share for March 2024, with payment scheduled for April 15 to shareholders on record by March 29, 2024.

The company also announced its quarterly dividends for Class A Series 1 and Series 2 Preference Shares, covering the period from January 1 to March 31, 2024.

According to a news release, Series 1 Preference Shares has a dividend of $0.180938 per share, while Series 2 Preference Shareholders has a dividend of $0.442071 per share. These will likewise be payable on April 15.

Additionally, the dividend rate for the Series 2 Preference Shares for the upcoming quarter has been established at 7.051%.

Last week, First National revealed that it has surpassed $50 billion in commercial mortgages under administration (MUA).

“First National has dedicated itself to providing Better Lending to commercial real estate owners and developers since 1988, so reaching $50 billion in MUA is a validation of our long-term approach of solutions and service for customers,” said Jeremy Wedgbury, executive vice president of commercial mortgages.

“It has taken a substantial effort to reach this milestone, and we are grateful for the support and loyalty of our customers and investing partners, including many who have been part of our success story for decades,” added co-founder and senior executive vice president Moray Tawse.
