CIBC, RE/MAX to offer mobile mortgage advisors in northern and western Canada

Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and RE/MAX have announced that they have entered into an agreement to jointly provide mobile mortgage advisor services in northern and western Canada.

The program will cater to RE/MAX customers in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, the Yukon, and the Northwest Territories. The institutions said that through this agreement, clients would be able to access CIBC Mobile Mortgage Advisors anytime, anywhere.

“The partnership also provides RE/MAX brokers and agents access to mortgage qualifications through CIBC that will help their clients assess what they can afford before starting their search for a home,” the firms said in a joint announcement late last week.

Prospective homeowners will particularly benefit from tailor-fit advice even before they begin their searches, said Elton Ash, regional executive vice president at RE/MAX of Western Canada.

“Our partnership with CIBC will help ensure that RE/MAX clients have everything they need to make their home-buying process go as smoothly as possible,” Ash said.

“Buying a home is often one of the largest investments a person makes,” said Tracy Best, senior vice president of mobile advice at CIBC. “This partnership enables homebuyers across Canada to benefit from expert advice on both finding and financing the home that meets their individual needs.”
