Canadian listings to be featured on leading NA online marketplace

Real estate/rental online marketplace Zillow and residential real estate franchisor CENTURY 21 Canada have announced the formation of an alliance which will see Zillow receive a direct feed of listings for Canadian homes.

The agreement will take advantage of Zillow’s significant footprint in North America, which will help “drive exposure of Canadian real estate listings to the millions of buyers who visit Zillow every month,” the announcement stated. Zillow noted that approximately 79% of home buyers in the U.S. use online platforms to shop for homes.

”We know U.S. buyers are interested in purchasing Canadian real estate, so we're excited to offer the millions of buyers already coming to Zillow for their home search an easy way to see homes for sale in Canada and connect with an agent to help navigate the sale,” Zillow Group chief industry development officer Errol Samuelson said.

“We have a long history of leading the way when it comes to technology and real estate marketing. We are pleased to be the first company in Canada to secure a partnership with Zillow Group — one that will no doubt benefit our sellers and our entire network,” CENTURY 21 Canada chief technology officer Jack Miller added.
