Platform gives participating brokerages access to shared services
TMG The Mortgage Group has launched TMG Enterprise Partners, a new operating platform designed to give independent mortgage brokerages across Canada access to enterprise-level resources while allowing them to retain full ownership, culture, and brand identity.
The platform is led by Veronica Love, president of TMG Enterprise Partners and chief revenue officer of TMG The Mortgage Group in Canada, and Mark Squire, chief operating officer.
Participating brokerages will have access to shared services spanning compliance, technology, cybersecurity, talent acquisition, strategic partnerships, and succession planning.
The launch comes at a moment when the operating environment for independent brokerages has grown measurably more complex. Ontario's Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) introduced mandatory continuing education requirements for all mortgage agents and brokers in April 2025, with a compliance deadline of March 31, 2026.
British Columbia has meanwhile replaced its long-standing Mortgage Brokers Act with the new Mortgage Services Act, overhauling the licensing and regulatory regime for principal brokers and mortgage brokerages across the province. Cybersecurity requirements and succession planning obligations are also intensifying across the broker channel
Built on decades of industry leadership
TMG Enterprise Partners builds on a foundation established over 36 years by Grant Thomas and Debbie Thomas, co-founders of TMG The Mortgage Group, and Mark Kerzner, the company's chief executive officer.
Love and Squire will oversee the strategic direction and national expansion of the platform while working directly with partner brokerages.
Beyond operational support, the platform is structured to foster peer collaboration among participating firms.
Independent brokerages on the platform will have opportunities to share ideas, exchange expertise, and draw on collective capabilities in business development, compliance, and strategic growth — a model designed to replicate the collaborative advantages of network membership without the associated trade-offs in ownership or identity.
