With over 33 years in the financial services industry, Kim Doiron has made a significant impact on the mortgage industry. Located in Alberta, she worked as a mortgage broker, then moved into sales management and led a top-performing Scotiabank mortgage advisor team. Kim made a strong impact in the communities she serves and the province of Alberta.  Kim’s background and certification in Financial Planning adds to her views of the importance of the mortgage industry in the overall financial plan of Canadians.

Joining HomeEquity Bank in 2017, Kim wanted to use her mortgage and industry experience to help a vulnerable demographic, Canadians 55+. Over the past few years, Kim has built and developed a team of Business Development Managers, growing the business in Western Canada, and increasing results and performance year over year. She empowers her team of BDMs to educate their partners on reverse mortgages as a savvy financial choice to create wealth and pension income. She doesn’t just teach about the product, but she is great at educating her team and partners about how the product can benefit each client and fully explain why a reverse mortgage can be a smarter financial option than an alternative solution.

Kim also has a strong sense of community and leadership, involving herself in many activities and organizations that support Women in Business, Women in Leadership, the United Way and Calgary Flood support, all community groups that work together to improve the lives of local Albertans. In addition to her many community volunteer contributions, Kim also organizes and participates in many of the sports her children play during the Spring and Fall. Congratulations Kim!
