Campaign reinforces lender's 'Really Helpful' brand promise

Pepper Money unveils new brand campaign with Wests Tigers

Non-bank lender Pepper Money has launched a new television advertising campaign in collaboration with its partner, professional rugby league team Wests Tigers, highlighting a shared commitment to being genuinely helpful — both in finance and on the football field.

The campaign features key figures from the club, including NRL head coach Benji Marshall, NRLW captain Kezie Apps (pictured above left), and NRL co-captains Apisai Koroisau (pictured centre) and Jarome Luai (pictured above right). It introduces the lender’s refreshed brand message: “Really Helpful Loan Options.”

Wests Tigers chief executive Shane Richardson said the club’s involvement stems from a strong alignment in values.

“When we talk about partnerships, this is what we mean,” Richardson said. “Our players wanted to be involved because we believe in what Pepper Money stands for, helping people and backing them.”

According to the lender, the campaign goes beyond typical sponsorship and reflects a shared approach to making a difference — on and off the field. Pepper Money chief executive Mario Rehayem said the initiative underscores the company’s purpose-led philosophy.

“At Pepper Money, we’re driven by our mission to help people succeed,” he said. “To do that well, every aspect of our business – from our people through to the loan options we provide to our customers must deliver on our commitment to being really helpful.”

Rehayem noted that the latest collaboration with the Wests Tigers offered a natural fit for showcasing mutual values such as persistence and community support. As a major partner of the club, Pepper Money supports both the men’s and women’s teams, the coaching staff, and community initiatives such as Wests Tigers Empower, which promotes youth development through education and outreach.

The campaign, which will appear across digital platforms, stadium activations, and media outlets during the 2025 season, is part of a wider strategy positioning Pepper Money as one of the leading non-bank lenders in Australia. The company offers a range of loan options — including home, car, personal, commercial, and self-managed super fund (SMSF) loans — targeted at borrowers who may not meet traditional lending criteria.
