outsource Financial featured in History of Parliament publication

outsource Financial has been selected to feature in Monarchy and Democracy: A History of Leadership, an official History of Parliament project produced in partnership with publisher St James's House.

The publication was written by a team of academics and authors, including royal commentators Robert Jobson, Russell Myers and Katie Nicholl. It examines the relationship between Crown and Parliament, traces the influence of the Act of Settlement 1701 on Commonwealth governance, and profiles a select group of organisations chosen for their alignment with themes of leadership, innovation, governance and sustainability.

The fully illustrated hardback was launched earlier this month at Westminster Abbey in London.

outsource Financial's inclusion marks its second appearance in a Commonwealth-linked historical publication, having previously featured in The Commonwealth at 75 in 2024.

"To be invited to contribute to this publication, following our involvement in The Commonwealth at 75, is an incredible honour," said Tanya Sale (pictured top left), chief executive of outsource Financial. "It reflects the legacy we are building at outsource Financial and the role we are proud to play in representing the Commonwealth on a global stage. We remain deeply committed to driving progress, innovation and leadership within our industry.

"Being selected to participate in this project is a powerful recognition of the journey we've been on and the future we are shaping. It speaks to the impact we are making as a business and our ongoing commitment to building a strong, enduring legacy for the industry on a global stage."

Andrea Tassis (pictured top right), chief financial officer at outsource Financial, said the recognition reflected the organisation's internal standards. "It's a meaningful acknowledgement of the strength, governance and sustainability we've established within outsource Financial – principles that remain central to our ability to scale responsibly, support continued industry confidence, deliver long-term value and lead with integrity."

Jennifer Davey of the History of Parliament TrustJennifer Davey (pictured right), director at the History of Parliament Trust, said the publication profiles organisations selected for their relevance to its central themes. "The book not only explores the history and evolution of UK and Commonwealth governance and the shift to a constitutional monarchy, but also profiles a selection of organisations invited to join the project based on their relevance to the themes of leadership, innovation, sustainability and governance."

Stephen van der Merwe, a group director at the St James's House Group, said the publication draws on direct accounts from organisational leaders. "Through in-depth interviews with the leaders of organisations such as outsource Financial, and by spotlighting their work, Monarchy and Democracy provides a compelling, first-hand perspective on how today's organisational leaders are shaping the future in a wide range of areas, including governance, education, charitable work, enterprise and industry."

The publication will be distributed in print and digital formats on a controlled-circulation basis, targeting political, institutional and educational audiences across the UK, Europe and the Commonwealth.
