RightStart Mortgage, a California-based full-service lender, has hired industry veteran John Stangarone as retail business development manager. Stangarone will be responsible for overseeing the management and growth of RightStart’s retail branch operations.

With more than 20 years of experience in the industry, Stangarone has held executive or management positions at Ocwen Financial, Saxon Mortgage, Monument Mortgage, Countrywide Financial and others. He most recently served as regional manager for Gold Star Mortgage Financial and national sales manager for All Home Lending.

“Given his past roles and accomplishments, John is the perfect candidate to lead our retail operations,” said Buster Williams, president of RightStart Mortgage. “As the outlook for purchase loans continues to improve, we believe John’s proven ability to find and coach great sales professionals will serve us well. We’re thrilled that he is coming on board.”
“I couldn’t be happier to be joining RightStart Mortgage, which has a well-deserved reputation for providing great loan products and delivering excellent service,” Stangarone said. “I look forward to taking advantage of this opportunity by helping our retail branches and salespeople achieve their goals while building on the company’s long track record of success.”
