A&D Mortgage hires former Atlantic Coast Mortgage general counsel

A&D Mortgage, a non-QM lender, has named Rebecca Chaney (pictured) as its new general counsel.

Chaney brings over 17 years of expertise to her new position at A&D Mortgage, with a wealth of experience spanning compliance, legal, and risk management in the mortgage sector.

In her new role, she will be responsible for overseeing all legal, regulatory, and compliance aspects of A&D Mortgage’s operations. Chaney will ensure the company complies with laws and regulations while pursuing its mission to deliver innovative mortgage solutions.

Chaney most recently served as general counsel at Atlantic Coast Mortgage. Her career also includes serving as senior vice president of mortgage regulatory compliance and administration at LenderSelect Mortgage Group and senior executive vice president of legal affairs, regulatory compliance, and administrative control at Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group.

The company said her extensive knowledge will be crucial in navigating the intricate regulatory landscape of the mortgage industry and supporting A&D Mortgage’s strategic expansion.
