Marvin Chance co-founded Mortgages Unlimited in 1990 in southwest Kansas. Since that time, it’s become the largest mortgage broker in the region, and Chance himself closed more than $60 million in loan volume last year alone. In a small community where the average home sells for $140,000, Chance closes an average of 300 loans annually. He’s also active in the community, spearheading the formation of a daycare and preschool that filled a community need for affordable childcare. He was also a key player in securing federal Rural Housing Incentive District programs for the area.
