Michael Jacobson joins the company as vice president of corporate development

Mortgage Guaranty Insurance has announced that it added Michael Jacobson to lead the development of mortgage credit enhancement products.
Jacobson assumed the role of vice president of corporate development effective July 16.
"Mike has had great success working with a variety of participants to identify new opportunities in mortgage credit risk," said Sal Miosi, executive vice president of business strategy and operations. "His creativity and drive will be an invaluable asset to MGIC as we continue to advance our role in the industry. I am excited to bring Mike onto the team, and look forwarding to working with him in his new role."
Before joining Mortgage Guaranty, Jacobson served as principal and financial consultant in the credit risk practice of Wisconsin-based Milliman. Jacobson spent 13 years at the company in roles of increasing responsibility. In 2017, he was recognized for his contributions with the Milliman Chairman's Innovation Award.
