LenderLive appoints new CEO, COO

Mortgage solutions firm LenderLive has announced the appointments of Rob Clements as new CEO and John Surface as new COO, effective immediately.

The new appointees are banking-industry veterans who previously worked for more than 20 years at EverBank. They have been credited with playing roles in taking EverBank public in 2012, as well as its $2.6 billion-acquisition by global financial-services firm TIAA. They helped raise more than $1.2 billion in growth capital for their former firm, said LenderLive.

He received a bachelor’s degree from Washington and Lee University and a master’s degree from Harvard Business School. “Over the last few years, LenderLive has diversified and strengthened its product offering, expanded its client base and built a business with considerable expansion possibilities. This is an ideal situation that allows us to bring our experience building and transforming EverBank to another ascending company with significant momentum and growth potential,” said Surface.
