Churchill Mortgage opens Missouri branch

The new branch is the sixth in five states opened by the lender in the last year

Churchill Mortgage has announced the opening of its first branch in Missouri. The new branch is the sixth in five states opened by the lender in the last year.

The new branch, located in Kansas City, Mo., is headed up by 19-year industry veteran Joanna Redden, who will also serve as a home loan specialist. Redden has previously worked as a senior mortgage professional for First Federal Bank and Security Savings Bank, a senior mortgage loan officer for First National Bank of Kansas and a loan officer for Capital Federal Savings.

"According to the National Association of Home Builders, builder confidence in January remains at a solid level. This – combined with low mortgage rates and growing demand – paints a positive outlook for homebuyers in 2014,” said Mike Hardwick, president of Churchill Mortgage. “Expanding into Missouri allows us to serve a new population of borrowers and Joanna’s expertise ensures that they have the most direct route to the American dream of homeownership.”

Founded in 1992, Churchill Mortgage now boasts more than 300 employees and provides conventional, FHA, VA and USDA residential mortgages in 33 states.
