Xit2 appoints Curtis

Keith has worked for a range of companies involved in prime and sub-prime lending, with experience in underwriting, arrears control, sales & marketing and relationship management. Latterly, Keith has been involved in branded lending and packaging with Apple / Zest Home Loans.

The Repossession Exchange manages the transfer of information between the parties involved from the point where a court order has been obtained to the time that the property is put on the market. It co-ordinates the interactivities of arrears, realisation and litigation departments, estate agents, corporate asset managers, valuers, contractors and conveyancing solicitors. As a central database, the Repossession Exchange runs a constant process of feedback analysis to ensure that all participants in the process are fully informed and can operate efficiently. Data is shared on a need-to-know basis and the distribution of that data and the exact process can be tailored to the needs of the lender.

Paul Duckworth, managing director for Xit2, said: “We’re lucky to have someone of Keith’s experience and stature join the team and I’m delighted to welcome him as relationship manager for the Repossession Exchange. Repossessions are an unfortunate reality of today’s world and the process can be complicated and convoluted unless a technology-based solution is utilised. Some industry experts forecast that repossession cases will rise to 12,000 repossessions this year, which means that Keith’s role will involve working in close liaison with those lenders who are at the leading edge of this issue. Lenders are embracing the benefits that the latest technology can provide and Keith will be driving forward innovation in this area and communicating the benefits to new and existing customers.”

Keith Curtis, relationship manger, The Repossession Exchange said: “My challenge will be to find other forward thinking lenders who recognise the benefit of a technology based solution for them to streamline and maximise the potential from an unfortunate relationship breakdown between borrower and lender. When all efforts have been exhausted by the lender to satisfactorily resolve the problem, the Repossession Exchange can quickly and efficiently distribute data to all interested parties. My aim to make Xit2 technology synonymous with helping the repossessions issue as it has become in the home information pack (HIP), valuation and conveyancing sectors.”
