The improved site now offers a dedicated area for UCB Home Loans customers, in which they can download key forms and information to manage their mortgages. These features were previously unavailable online and would have required customers to contact UCB Home Loans directly. The new section of the site benefits from easy navigation and concise copy, designed to make it quicker and easier for customers to find what they are looking for.
As well as the newly launched existing customer section, the UCB Home Loans website retains dedicated sections for intermediaries, potential customers and the media.
The new section offers the following features:
- The ability for customers to download forms and literature such as rate guides and direct debit mandates
- The latest House Price Index from Nationwide, enabling customers to check house price values in their region. This is useful if they are moving or wanting an indicative guide to the amount of equity held in their property
- Answers to customers’ frequently asked questions
- An example mortgage statement, with full explanatory notes detailing each section and transaction
- The ability for customers to e-mail any questions or comments direct to UCB Home Loans
- Full details of current UCB Home Loans products and rates
The UCB Home Loans website is already recognised as a winner in official ratings of financial websites. Since January 2002 it has been consistently voted one of the top sites in an independent review of 105 mortgage sites produced each month by Blays Internet Rating Service. It also recently won a Silver Award in the mortgages category of the Blays Net Ratings Quarterly Awards scheme, with points awarded for design, navigation, speed, content and interactivity.
