TMB rewarded for service

Walking away with the Best Large Business Award in the fourth annual Trinity Mirror Cheshire business awards, TMB beat off stiff competition including Chester Zoo.

TMB’s commitment to Cheshire area can be seen in a local recruitment drive which has resulted in over 100 new staff in the Chester head office over the past 18 months and the support of local charity Save the Family as their charity of the year.

Nigel Payne, managing director of TMB, said: "We have done an awful lot of work over the last few years to really develop the culture of the business. Our hard work has resulted in great service for our customers and a new maxim for the business in, ‘the work we get in today is done today’. The business results we have achieved really are second-to-none in the mortgage industry which is why we are recognised as providing a five star service proposition.”

“We also recognise the vital role and responsibility that we have within the local community. Save the Family is our charity of the year and we and our staff have been highly involved in supporting them both financially and through personal time and effort.”

There were nine categories at the awards: business start-up, small business, medium business, large business, employer of the year, community award, young person, woman in business and business person.
