Spicerhaart appoints GI provider

After extensive research, Spicerhaart has revealed it picked Paymentshield on the basis of its competitive and comprehensive general insurance offering.

The new deal will see Spicerhaart offering Paymentshield’s household and landlord cover initially via its broker arm, Spicerhaart Financial Services, with a view to expanding this to the wider Spicerhaart Group companies during the early part of 2008.

Paymentshield’s business development team will also be providing both face-to-face and telephone based support and advice to Spicerhaart’s sales-force.

Stuart Pender, chief executive, Paymentshield said: “Spicerhaart is an exciting company with a fantastic client base and we are delighted to have been selected for this exclusive partnership. As two leading industry brands, this opportunity has enabled us to link-up and deliver a strong proposition to the market.”

Paul Smith, chief executive, Spicerhaart Group added: “We are thrilled to be entering into partnership with Paymentshield. We have been very impressed with Paymentshield’s “can-do” attitude towards doing business, and we look forward to its competitive household and landlord offering being an important part of our excellent customer proposition for many years to come.”
