Quest overcomes postal strikes

The latest wave of strikes have highlighted the growing need for web resources. Quest's new technology enables surveyors to efficiently publish Homebuyer Surveys and valuation reports online in a PDF format.

There is no set-up charge and the combined cost for publishing a report online and sending an automated SMS to the client is an all-inclusive cost of just 85p – far cheaper than if an individual chooses to manually text or post the reports.

Steven Empson, a chartered surveyor at Robinson Hornsby, said: “What attracted me to this new technology from Quest is that it offers seamless interaction with my customers to keep them updated on how their case is progressing, all through an automated SMS messaging system. The Homebuyer Survey and Valuation reports can then be published online, removing the need to manually post the reports. This will create huge efficiencies for me and my business and I look forward to taking full advantage of this technology, to help me keep one step ahead of my competitors.”

Tom Parker, managing director of Quest Associates added: “The postal strikes are likely to continue for some time yet and we could see this would create real issues for our customers who traditionally post completed valuation reports and homebuyer surveys once completed. We quickly set up an online publishing service so reports can be instantaneously shared and have initially offered this service free of charge to give our clients a helping hand. Not only does it improve efficiencies, but it is environmentally friendly too.”
