In December the Mortgage Network received 39 Business Writer applications, which is its second highest number in 2008, following April’s record of 54.
Neil Hoare, sales & marketing director at Pink Home Loans commented: “We are not surprised that the number of Business Writer applications increased during December - clearly intermediaries were looking to Networks to help them through the current market conditions”.
Hoare continued: “Interestingly the level of business writers that applied in December are a pleasing mix of DA’s and ARs from other Networks. Two of the primary reasons that brokers give for joining Pink is that they can opt to receive their commission within 24-hours of the mortgage completing helping cash flow, along with the technology platform that is free as part of our proposition.”
