helpucover.co.uk recently commissioned independent research on attitudes towards the current economic ‘climate’. Consumers were asked to rank a series of ‘mindset’ statements and indicate how closely they represented their feelings about the UK economy. The most popular statement was “I want to stop worrying about all the doom and gloom and just get on with life as normal.” A high proportion of people also identified with the statement: “I am already stretched and would be financially ruined if I lost my job.”
Barbara Russell, head of marketing for www.helpucover.co.uk commented: “Homeowners can reduce their financial exposure with MPPI starting at £1.16 per £100 of mortgage repayment per month. This equates to just £17.40 a month for a 30 year old homeowner with a £1,500 monthly mortgage repayment.”
