New MD for Xit2

Stibrany has been CEO of the NLIS Hub – the electronic system which provides official Local Authority searches and other authoritative data to conveyancers through Internet retail channels - for the past four years.

“This is a hugely exciting time to be joining Xit2," said Stibrany. "Their systems are used throughout the industry for the instruction of valuations, conveyancing, energy performance certificates and the management of repossessions. Furthermore their IT expertise is so well regarded that it is now offered as an outsourced function under their professional services banner.

"I’d like to pay tribute to the remarkable job that Paul has done at Xit2 and I will work to build on the very strong foundations that he has established.”

Duckworth leaves Xit2 after seven years in charge having joined in 2000 and being credited for transforming the firm from a small IT company to its position today as the leading provider of technology for the valuation, conveyancing, and HIP markets.

Xit2 was purchased in 2005 by Canadian based MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd.

Duckworth said: “I have enjoyed tremendously my time at Xit2; seeing the firm grow in both size and stature in the mortgage market. From some humble beginnings, the Xit2 group has become a major player in a range of mortgage and mortgage related areas.

"I’m delighted to be handing over the reigns to someone of Peter’s calibre who will drive the business forward to even bigger and better things. Peter has been working with us for some time and so has a terrific working knowledge of the business and the people.

"However, I will remain for a period of some months to ensure that I can do everything possible to ensure a smooth transition. My thanks go to the staff and also to the loyalty of our clients who have helped make the company the success it is.”

Roland McCormack, managing director of Bristol & West, “It’s sad to see Paul leave Xit2 as we’ve enjoyed a very positive and productive relationship but I wish him well in whatever his next venture should be. Bristol & West and Xit2 have a strong relationship which I’m looking forward to continuing with Peter at the helm.”
