Nationwide unveils broker alert service

Once brokers are registered, the alerts they can tap into will cover rate changes, product updates and service enhancements.

It will also act to keep brokers in the know about any product withdrawals and criteria changes, with links through to the Society's affordability and remortgage calculators.

Brokers can also opt in to receive tailored, region-specific information on house prices.

Peter Leydon, divisional director of prime intermediary lending at Nationwide, said: “The feedback we have had from intermediaries is that they value clear and timely updates.They also require quick access to tools that will help clients complete their mortgage application.

"This service will make it quicker and easier for valued intermediaries, and their clients, to do business with us and help keep them up to date with the latest Nationwide offering.”
