Mortgage Times Forums 'successful'

The Central London BDF saw Jury’s Inn in Central London full to capacity, with over 140 advisers looking to grow their business through the new-style forums, offering a dynamic marketing focus. Major studies include the techniques of building a brand by advertising coupled with lead generation, and financial promotions and compliance issues that need to be addressed with regulation. Cross sale opportunities and the latest software developments were examined in detail, and the fundamentals of direct mail and customer retention will be outlined to visiting brokers. West Brom for Intermediaries also gave a presentation of the dynamic relationship they had forged with The Mortgage Times Group and talked about exclusives and buy-to-let that they are able to offer through The Group.

Intermediaries in attendance also gained valuable insight into adopting the latest technology into their proposition, with demonstrations and information on how to maximise use of the latest sourcing software, with Trigold representatives present to offer comprehensive advice on how to maximise its potential. In addition, the forums offered insight into compliance database management, and the benefits of system integration within the intermediary market.

Payam Azadi, head of marketing at The Mortgage Times Group, commented: “We’re delighted at the response from visiting brokers thus far, as well as the number in attendance. We’ve invested heavily in our BDF program for 2007, and feel we’ve got the balance just right for a day that can add real value to intermediaries in helping to growing their business, particularly with the new marketing edge. We are confident that the rest of the program will be equally as successful and we can continue to add value to hundreds of brokers nationwide.

James Taylor, corporate account manager for West Brom for Intermediaries, who was presenting at the London BDF, commented: “"This was a first class forum, typical of the standard we've come to expect from The Mortgage Times Group. They have a truly compelling proposition for ARs and DAs alike with a great 'one stop shop' approach, reflected in the exceptionally high level of attendance at the forum. It was a pleasure to have to stand at the back of the room because every available seat had been taken.”
