MAB opens fifth mortgage shop

The new mortgage shop follows on from those opened in North Finchley and Chester last year bringing MAB’s total to five.

Heading up the Swindon business are two of MAB’s appointed representative advisers, Jeremy Morcumb and Gary Price. They each boast over 30 years of mortgage-related experience with Jeremy also having co-founded Castles Estate Agents in Swindon in 2003.

Peter Brodnicki, chief executive of Mortgage Advice Bureau, commented: “There are definite signs of a recovery in mortgage lending, with plenty of demand both from first-time buyers and home movers, and we fully expect housing transactions to grow steadily over the next five years.

“The vast majority of mortgage brokers are not visible to the public on the high street, but a mortgage shop branded as professionally as any mainstream lender can soon become the first stop for customers who want genuinely independent mortgage advice.

“The success we have enjoyed since then, with profits consistently growing by 35%+ in each of the last four years, means we can invest heavily to support both our advisers and AR partners. I expect this latest mortgage shop will be the first of many, and we are also adding two new telephone advice centres to support our AR firms in the South.”

The shop is open for six days a week and until 7pm on most weeknights.
