Homebuyer provides protection workshops

The courses will be delivered by Ex-Allied Dunbar sales trainers, who had an unrivalled reputation for producing some of the top life assurance sales people in the UK.

Home Buyer is providing the software system and Insynergi will run the workshops, headed up by its director, Stuart Whant, who has over 20 years experience within the world of financial services working within operational business management and HR focusing on implementing change.

The workshops are open to firms and individuals across all UK regions and its aim is to create a mindset among mortgage advisers that it is their duty under the TCF principle to identify all related protection needs when advising clients on their mortgage decisions.

This course provides mortgage advisers with the dual benefits of a new set of selling skills geared to maximising protection and general insurance sales, together with a fully compliant advice and sales process.

Richard Angliss, managing director of Home Buyer Systems, commented: “It is widely recognised that sales of mortgage-related protection products are under performing, leaving home-owners and mortgage payers vulnerable.

"Learning how to approach mortgage–related GI sales in a constructive way that leads to successful sales will enable advisers to generate higher levels of personal income.

"In addition, using the Home Buyer System for the advice and sales process means that it will be delivering against the FSA’s Treating Customers Fairly outcomes, and especially outcome number three that expects to see customers being appropriately informed before, during and after the point of sale.”
