Historic opportunity for mortgage brokers

They will also have an opportunity to find out more about the other regulatory options available to them post M Day.

Themed the 'Castles & Coronets Roadshow', Mortgage Next, the UK's largest independent mortgage distributor, will be holding a series of regional seminars in prestigious historic venues, starting at the Tower of London on Tuesday 9 September. The roadshows will then visit a further 14 historic venues (full details below) over the following five weeks.

The aim of each event will be to outline the regulatory options available to intermediaries and to enable them to register their initial interest in whichever regulatory status holds greatest appeal. Mortgage Next will be providing a full range of services post 'M Day’, which covers the needs of all brokers, whether they decide to become appointed representatives, directly authorised, multi-tied or introducers only.

Leading mortgage lenders will also be present at each venue so there will be an interesting mix of regulatory information as well as product and market news, along with plenty of opportunity for networking. The events will start at 10am and finish with a medieval style lunch.

Commenting on the roadshow, Martin Maynard, Mortgage Next’s Managing Director said: “The time is fast approaching when brokers will have to make some key decisions about their future. The aim of the roadshows is to provide brokers with the information and guidance they need to make the right decision in a relaxed and interesting way. This is a historic time for the mortgage industry and we thought it was therefore appropriate to hold our events in historic venues, which reflected the importance of the decisions brokers will be making’.

Intermediaries who wish to reserve a place at one of the Roadshow events should contact Mortgage Next on 01883 333100.
